I'm an Avid editor from the Dallas area with over 13 years experience. After graduating from the Art Institute of Dallas in 2003, I worked for the same company for 11 years. There I edited everything from car spots to corporate videos, political ads, short films, and reality television. In 2015 I entered into the freelance market to meet new people, build new relationships, and work on exciting new projects.
I'm proficient in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere, as well as being capable in Photoshop and After Effects. I'm also fluent in Spanish and have a lot of experience working on projects for hispanic clients. I'm great at dealing with technical issues and have experience in data management and color grading. I'm hard working, loyal, trustworthy, and I always try and go above and beyond on everything I work on.

When trying to sell a concept to a television network, you must create a "pitch reel" or "sizzle reel" to demonstrate the idea and characters of the potential show. I've personally edited dozens of pitch reels over the last few years, and 7 of them have either gone to series or at least received a pilot. Here are a few that didn't sell, but I'm still pretty proud of how they turned out.
PITCH REELS
Since 2010, I've been working in reality television. I've been lead editor on five different series, spanning several networks, as well as various specials and pilots. My strengths are in telling a story with unscripted material, and also my attention to detail in delivering the final product.
COMMERCIALS
Before doing unscripted television, I used to edit all sorts of commercials. Here are a few examples of my work. It's been a few years since I've done spots, but my abilities to tell a story are just as sharp as ever!
